All right, that's it...

Sat Jun 27, 2009, 9:13 AM
... I am moving to Virginia as soon as I can.

Last weekend, my family took a trip down there to see Monticello, Ash Lawn, and Montpelier, as well as some other places. As you can see, I took some pictures. Actually, I took more than 150 pictures, but only the ones I think are best will be uploaded. So far, I've only gone through Monticello and Ash Lawn's, and still have the ones from Berkeley Plantation, Montpelier, and Skyline Drive do. Those will (hopefully) be up sometime during the coming week. All of them will be outside landscape type shots, because no photography was allowed inside the houses, which sucks because they were all very elegant.

Also, as I was talking to my friend (you might know her as "kiltsrhott" on here...), she mentioned using some of the pictures as stock photos for manips and such. I'm perfectly fine with that. Just give me credit for the picture you used, and although it's not necessary, it'd be nice if you dropped me a line so I could see what you've done with it.

Last thing - I have done some sewing over the summer (have been home since early May), and am nearing completion on two big projects. If I ever get of my butt and actually finish them (one gown needs a hem, the other's bodice needs to be made), and if I can snag my friend long enough to do a decent photoshoot, you can expect some pics of those too. It will be a 1880s victorian day dress and a very early Regency dress.
